These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of facilities, programs, events, and digital platforms operated by Edmonton Sports Centre (“ESC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking a court, registering for a program, hosting an event, or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read carefully before participating.
1. Facility Use
Users agree to:

Follow posted facility rules and staff instructions

Respect property, equipment, and staff

Use courts and spaces only for permitted activities

Keep food and drinks off playing surfaces (unless designated)
ESC may remove individuals who violate facility rules without refund.
2. Booking & Reservations
Court bookings, memberships, and rentals are subject to availability.
By booking, participants agree to:

Provide accurate contact information

Pay all applicable fees at checkout
-
Arrive on time to avoid forfeiture
Late arrivals may result in shortened play with no adjustments.
3. Payment Policies
Payments may be processed through:

Third-party reservation systems (e.g., CatchCorner)
-
In-person POS systems
-
Online invoices
We accept no responsibility for transaction errors caused by external platforms.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Unless otherwise stated:

Cancellations made 24 hours before booking may be eligible for credit
-
No-shows are non-refundable
-
League or tournament fees are final once rosters are confirmed
Event and corporate booking deposits are non-refundable once confirmed.
ESC reserves the right to modify or reschedule bookings due to:

Maintenance
-
Weather (for satellite events)
-
Emergencies
-
Special events
Credits may be issued at ESC’s discretion.
5. Code of Conduct
All guests must behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
The following is prohibited:

Harassment, abuse, or discrimination
-
Violence or threats
-
Damaging equipment
-
Alcohol or drugs (unless catered events permitted)
-
Unauthorized filming or photography of minors
ESC reserves the right to refuse or revoke access.
6. Youth Programs
Parents/guardians must:

Ensure children are supervised before and after programs
-
Provide accurate medical/emergency information
-
Be reachable during sessions
ESC is not responsible for unattended minors outside program hours.
7. Athletic Risks
Participation involves inherent risks, including:

Injury
-
Collision
-
Equipment contact
-
Slips and falls
By participating, individuals assume all risks voluntarily.
ESC is not liable for:

Lost wages
-
Medical expenses
-
Damaged personal items
-
Injuries resulting from participation
8. Equipment Usage
Participants who damage equipment through:

Negligence
-
Misuse
-
Unauthorized modification
may be held financially responsible.
9. Event Rentals
Event rentals require a signed agreement that may include:

Damage deposits
-
Setup/tear down fees
-
Staffing requirements
-
Security guidelines
External vendors (food, production, etc.) must be pre-approved.
10. Media, Photography & Streaming
ESC may record or livestream games and events using systems such as Pixellot AI.
By entering the facility, participants consent to:

Recording for coaching analysis
-
League highlights
-
Marketing material (unless opted out in writing)
Parents may request media removal for minors, where feasible.
11. Lockers & Personal Items
Lockers are available for short-term use only.
ESC is not responsible for:
-
Lost or stolen items
-
Unattended personal belongings
Valuables should not be brought into the facility.
12. Smoking & Alcohol

Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the facility
-
Alcohol is permitted only in designated areas during approved events
Violations may lead to ejection without refund.
13. Accessibility
ESC strives to provide an inclusive environment and will make reasonable accommodations when possible.
14. Website & Digital Platforms
Users may not:

Attempt unauthorized access to restricted systems
-
Copy or scrape content for commercial use
-
Misrepresent identity or account information
We reserve the right to suspend access for suspicious activity.
15. Weather & Emergency Closures
In case of severe weather or emergencies, ESC may:

Cancel programs
-
Close early
-
Reschedule bookings
Credits may be offered at management discretion.
16. Third-Party Services
Links or integrations with external platforms (payment gateways, booking tools, etc.) are provided “as-is.”
ESC is not responsible for:

Privacy practices
-
Data loss
-
Account errors
-
Platform outages
17. Liability Waiver
By using our facility, participants agree to waive ESC, its staff, and affiliates from claims relating to:

Injury
-
Property damage
-
Accidents
-
Lost or stolen belongings
This waiver applies to individual and group participants.
18. Termination of Access
ESC may suspend or terminate access for:

Policy violations
-
Safety hazards
-
Intentional property damage
-
Rule non-compliance
No refunds will be issued in such cases.
19. Changes to Terms
ESC may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
